Exploring the diverse medical applications that enhance patient care

  • Service Areas

    Medical Environment

Bio-Kil solutions has been implemented as a system solution to address the Healthcare-acquired Infections by hospitals in both Singapore and Taiwan. Working closely with CDC professionals in hospitals, Bio-Kil solutions will be strategically installed and implemented in transmission key nodes to reduce the concentration of microorganism, therefore lowering risks of HAI.

Bio-Kil solutions include a regular monitoring of bacterial counts, allowing disease control professionals to adjust strategies according to the results. Bio-Kil solutions are used in intensive care unit (ICU), respiratory care center (RCC), burn ward (BW), organ transplant unit, operation room and general ward.

  • Non-medical Environment

The Non-medical Environment is defined as public spaces that are not require medical level protection. After SARS in 2003, many of the public spaces started to implement Bio-Kil solutions to provide additional protection to the general public.

Bio-Kil solution is implemented in many pubic spaces to hinder the airborne transmission in area with high population density. Bio-Kil solutions are mostly implemented in schools, office building, hotels, transportation hub.

  • Bio-Kil Air Series Solution

    Innovation

Bio-Kil air solution is a solution monitoring bacterial count in healthcare facilities through installing Bio-Kil in air circulation system. The original concept was to install Bio-Kil filters in pre-testing stations for hospitals in Taiwan during SARS in 2003. During the time, Bio-Kil teams have safeguard medical personnels and win the approval and expanded our businesses in Singapore.

    Application

Based on the client’s request, we will instill Bio-Kil treated filters in the central unit and all inlet/outlet of the designated areas such as intensive care unit, burn center etc. Our team will constantly sample and monitor the bacterial counts in the designated areas. Extra samples will be sent to the third-party lab, appointed by the client, to provide references.

By reducing the total number of bacteria counts in an environment, Bio-Kil can provide an improved and clean environment for all.

  • Bio-Kil Water Series Solution

    Innovation

The Bio-Kil water solution was the first innovation developed by the Bio-Kil team, inspired by Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks in the 1980s and 1990s. Designed originally for hospital applications, the solution integrates Bio-Kil central water filtration systems, point-of-use outlet filters, and a dynamic washing system. The first implementation took place in Taiwan, treating the chilled water system of a renowned restaurant chains' air conditioning system.

    Application

The primary objective of the Bio-Kil water solution is to reduce Legionella levels in building water supply systems. Our team custom-designs and installs central filtration units at the main water inlets, along with outlet filtration systems at designated points throughout the facility. Regular sampling, monitoring, and dynamic cleaning are conducted to maintain water hygiene. Samples are routinely sent to certified third-party laboratories for independent verification.

We also provide ongoing monitoring reports to our clients, ensuring transparency and traceability. By significantly lowering bacterial counts in water systems, Bio-Kil contributes to a safer, cleaner, and healthier environment.

  • Bio-Kil Surface Applications

    Innovation

The Bio-Kil antibacterial surface solution was initially developed in response to specific client needs during the 2003 SARS outbreak, when healthcare facilities urgently sought antimicrobial textiles. Over the past two decades, Bio-Kil has continued to expand its offerings to meet the diverse requirements of clients across various sectors. Today, its surface applications include disposable and reusable masks, air filters, filter elements, antibacterial membranes, socks, bed sheets, clothing, and other textile-based products.

    Application

These items can be seamlessly integrated into broader Bio-Kil solutions to provide enhanced protection tailored to each client’s environment and needs.

    2

    Site Survey

A comprehensive site survey will be conducted to evaluate the physical space and its surroundings. This includes a thorough study of the working space to understand the environmental conditions. To facilitate accurate planning and solution design, we also request essential documents such as the floor plan, floor area measurements, and a complete list of existing equipment.

    3

    Proposal

We prepare and present a formal proposal tailored to their specific needs. This proposal includes a detailed budgetary quotation. Depending on the cleint's demand, proposal may encompassing all four solutions.

    4

    Implementation

Once the client has accepted our proposal, the project enters the implementation stage. During this phase, we will proceed with treating the necessary materials and/or installing the required equipment as outlined in the approved plan.

    5

    Monitoring

After implementing the proposed solution, we remain committed to ongoing monitoring to ensure its effectiveness. For example, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments will be conducted as part of our follow-up process. Collected data will be systematically tabulated and analyzed to evaluate performance and identify any further areas for improvement.

    6

    Renewal & Continuouse Improvement

To ensure sustained performance and long-term support, we establish contract renewal agreements — typically on an annual basis.
